A 22-year-old man has been arrested after three people were attacked in a violent hospital rampage in Bolton.

Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene at around 4.15pm yesterday to reports of a man assaulting people in the waiting area.

One victim suffered serious injuries to his ear, with witnesses claiming part of it was bitten off entirely during the attack.

Two other patients - a woman in her 40s and a man in his 70s, received treatment for more minor wounds at the scene.
